  A match made in heaven: starving college students and local businesses hungry for their patronage. Conceived for South Bend, College Townie is the new NDToGo – an online urban directory and “freebie” resource ideal for students in any college town. Its mission is to facilitate and entice student exploration of off-campus and “off the beaten path” restaurants and activities through deals, discounts, and in-depth details. Cooperation between local eateries and, eventually, movie theatres and entertainment venues will pair companies and their aggressive marketing strategies with their target audience: students. These connections will be facilitated through short-cycle “sticky” promotions and long-term directory partnerships.

NDToGo Founders Visit Martha’s Midway Tavern (Mishawaka, IN)

On a recent visit to South Bend/Mishawaka, NDToGo Founders visited their favorite hole-in-the-wall: Mishawaka’s home for the Blues, Martha’s Midway Tavern (near the intersection of 4th and Logan). Pictured here are NDToGo CoFounders DJ DiDonna, ND ‘05 (third from right), Ian C. Runyon (3rd from left), and Rudy Reyes Jr., ND ‘03, ‘07 (front, far left) with Midway’s owner, Albertina Wassenhove (front, center). Don’t let her grandmotherly looks deceive you, Albertina closes the bar down nightly. If you like live music, darts, pool or drinking…give the Midway a chance.

Recent Visit to Fiddler’s Hearth (South Bend, IN)

On one of our recent visits getting NDToGo off the ground, we stopped in at Fiddler’s for a carbomb or three. I think all of the hot girls we were with left right before this picture. Shown here: NDToGo Founders Ian (far left), Rudy (second from right), and DJ (far right). We’re not exactly sure who the random guy second from the left is; he just kinda got into our picture. We started the night at Finnigan’s (aka The Library, aka The Blarney Stone…) and we think he followed us to Fiddler’s from there. Those who’ve been there know exactly what we’re talking about.
